TIRE CARE

We as a family would love to provide you all with helpful hints for your tires!

Check your tire pressure monthly.

Keeping your car's tires properly inflated to the automaker's recommended pressures is a critical element of tire maintenance. Tires that contain the specified amount of air pressure last longer and contribute to vehicle safety.

Inspect tires regularly, especially before long road trips.

Driving on tires with improper inflation pressure is dangerous and can cause tire damage as well as affect the vehicle's ride, handling and fuel economy.

Don't wait until your tires are on their death bed to replace.

If you wait too long, your tires could become bald tires. This is when the tread on your tires have completely worn out. Driving with bald tires could cause you to get into an accident, where the physical and monetary consequences may be much greater than you anticipated.

Don't install mismatched tires.

We advise against driving with mismatch wheels and tires. Mismatched wheels and tires can cause premature and uneven wear and tear on the new and remaining three wheels. Even replacing a single worn out tire with a new one, could mess with the handling of the vehicle because of the different tread depths.

Don't overload your vehicle.

When you overload a vehicle it puts tons of strain on it. The tires can wear out quickly as well as overheat. This leads to expensive tire failure and the possibility of a dangerous blowout. Extra strain means the engine is also working harder to make the vehicle move.

Rotate your tires.

In order to maintain even tread wear and to get the maximum life out of your tires, it’s recommended that you rotate your tires every 6,000 to 8,000 miles.
